Intro Video Instructions
Whether you are returning to camp or this is your first time, we look forward to watching your introduction videos! They not only help us get to know who you are as a person, writer, and performer, but they are also a good opportunity for you to get out of your comfort zone and show off your unique capabilities. Be fearless, have fun, and let us see who you are!
Intro Videos Due June 1, 2026
REQUIRED — Tell us the following:
- Your full name and where you live (city).
- What are you most excited about for camp?
- What experience do you have with narrative writing and performing? None is okay. :)
- Who are your favorite comedians?
- What are some of your hobbies?
- Try to keep this under 60–90 seconds.
OPTIONAL — A separate video
- To help us pre-assess your unique skills and capabilities, we invite you to share your proficient accents, character voices, musical abilities, singing range, dancing, or interesting athletic skills.
- Please keep each individual accent or character voice to 15 seconds or less.
- Please keep any songs to 30–60 seconds or less. We want to hear how good you are, so please show off! Hit those notes, make us feel something!
FOR BOTH VIDEOS:
- Place the camera close enough to see your face clearly.
- Make sure your video is in focus and has plenty of light.
- Verify that your sound is clear and understandable.
Upload your video to an online video site like YouTube or Vimeo.
IMPORTANT: We will be unable to view videos set to “private.” We recommend setting your privacy settings to “UNLISTED” although “Public” is also acceptable. EVERYONE must submit at least one video!
